Kidsville News! is a fun, family newspaper that promotes education, reading and good character traits in young children in K – 6 grades.

The Public Affairs Research Council of Alabama (PARCA) shows Colbert and Lauderdale Counties as far-and-away the state leader in high school seniors’ work and career readiness. From an Aug. 13, 2019, Courier Journal article: “One glaring difference in our community and all the others is that Colbert and Lauderdale counties are the only counties in Alabama that have the reading and learning resource of Kidsville News!
