Christian singer Zach Williams will bring his Revival Nights Tour to the Crown Theatre on Saturday, Oct. 3, with Cochren & Co. and opening artist Christian Hohn. Music begins at 7 p.m., following the opening of general admission doors at 6 p.m.
The concert will feature songs that blend Southern rock and country influences with themes of faith, hardship and renewal. Williams is known for recordings including “Chain Breaker” and “Rescue Story,” which reflect experiences that shaped his move from rock music into the Christian music industry.
Before his solo career, Williams performed with the Southern rock band Zach Williams & the Reformation. Years on the road and struggles with drug and alcohol use became part of the story he later shared through his music. His first solo album, “Chain Breaker,” earned a Grammy Award and established the sound that has defined much of his work since. His 2019 album, “Rescue Story,” continued to explore recovery and faith.
Williams brings those themes to the Revival Nights Tour. His gravelly vocals and guitar driven arrangements draw from rock and country as well as contemporary Christian music. The tour pairs his established songs with performances by artists whose music also addresses hope and redemption.
Cochren & Co. will join Williams in Fayetteville. Led by singer and pianist Michael Cochren, the group made its label debut in 2018 with “Church (Take Me Back).” Its first full length album, “Don’t Lose Hope,” arrived in 2021 and included “One Day” and “Who Can.” The group followed it with “Running Home” in 2023.
Cochren & Co. combines piano, pop and soul influences in songs about hope and belonging. Along with “Church (Take Me Back),” the group is expected to bring favorites such as “Running Home” to the Fayetteville show.
Hohn, a singer, songwriter and worship pastor from Pleasant Garden, North Carolina, will open the concert. His music draws on small town life and his Christian faith. The tour gives the North Carolina artist an opportunity to introduce his songs to a Fayetteville audience before Cochren & Co. and Williams take the stage.
A limited number of VIP packages include premium seating, early merchandise shopping and a photo opportunity with Williams. VIP doors open at 5 p.m. Guests participating in the photo opportunity must arrive by that time. The concert lineup is subject to change.
The Oct. 3 stop offers local listeners a chance to hear songs spanning Williams’ solo career, along with Cochren & Co.’s radio favorites and new music from Hohn. Concertgoers should purchase tickets through the venue’s official ticketing partner to avoid unauthorized resellers.
